How can I change the end date of the billing period?

The end date of the billing period can be changed by using the "650" service, contacting the online customer support service or one of Azercell Exclusive offices.

Changing the end date of the billing period using the "650" service:

The subscriber can change the end date of the billing period by sending an SMS with the numbers "1" or "2" to the  650 number.

Rules for changing the billing period:

  • If the subscriber is in the 1st billing period and sends a request from the 6th to the 23rd day of the month, the date change process will be executed immediately. If the request is not sent within the specified period, the date will be changed during the next billing period.
  • If the subscriber is in the 2nd billing period and sends a request from the 26th to the 3rd day of the month, the date change process will be executed immediately. If the request is not sent within the specified period, the date will be changed during the next billing period.
  • The service is intended only for individuals (including “Hər yerə” subscribers).
  • It is impossible to change the end date of the billing period on the day of invoicing (4th and 24th day of each month).
  • On numbers where the billing period is used for the first time, the operation of changing the end date of the billing period is not possible. This does not apply to recovered numbers.
  • The operation of changing the end date of the billing period is not possible for numbers with closed or deactivated line.

Tariffs:

  • SMS sent to 650 is free of charge.
  • For SMS notification from the number, a service fee of 0.02AZN (excluding VAT) is charged.

Changing the end date of the billing period via online customer support:

Individual:

To fulfill a request to change the end date of the billing period on the number assigned to an individual, an application containing the subscriber's request (signed by the subscriber) and a photocopy of the document must be attached to the letter sent to customercare@azercell.com or musterixidmetleri@azercell.com registered in the system.

Note:

  • The letter in accordance with the request must contain the name of the operation, mobile phone number, name and surname of the subscriber, date. The application must also be signed by the subscriber.
  • It is necessary to send copies of both sides of the identity card of the citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
  • A foreign citizen must attach a copy of the document registered in the system.

Legal entities:

The subscriber is recommended to send an application through the portal https://support.azercell.com/ to perform the operation on a number registered in the name of a legal entity. In this case, the registration of a written request (scanned) on a letterhead with a stamp (if any), signed by an authorized representative of the legal entity and disclosing the subscriber's request is also carried out through this portal.

Changing the end date of the billing period by contacting Azercell Exclusive offices:

Individual:

To perform the operation to change the end date of the billing period, an individual can come to the Azercell Exclusive office with an identity card.

In the absence of an opportunity to approach in person, the authorized person can submit an application on behalf of an individual with a power of attorney issued to him.

Foreign citizen:

A foreign citizen can make an operation to change the end date of the billing period by providing one of such documents as a passport, diplomatic passport, temporary residence permit (TRP), permanent residence permit (PRP).

If they cannot come in person, the authorized person can apply instead of a foreign citizen with a power of attorney issued to him.

Legal entities:

To change the end date of the billing period, a legal entity must apply with a letter disclosing its request, signed by an authorized representative of the legal entity, and certified by the seal.
