“Azercell Telecom” LLC has received Day.Az Media Company’s “People’s choice” award as “Best mobile operator of 2018”
Azercell Telecom LLC, the leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan, received next award as a result of its successful activity. According to the Day.Az Media Company's “People’s choice” award results, Azercell was nominated as “Best mobile operator of 2018”. Also in the survey conducted by Day.Az Media Company between its users, Azercell took the first place in the telecommunication industry with the 55.7% vote.
It is not by chance, that Azercell has gained confidence among mobile phone users.
Improvement in the quality of mobile communication, expansion of 4G network in the regions, provision of high-speed internet in remote areas, application of modern services and new business solutions, modernization of customer service, as well as various projects such as, making life easier through mobile technologies and other initiatives have made a huge contribution to this success of Azercell. Always focussed on customer satisfaction and convenience, Azercell introduced 16 Exclusive shops with a new concept in 2018. The number of served customers by the company exceeded 6 million during the previous year.
It is worth noting, that in 2018 for its successful activity Azercell was honoured with “Stevie Business Award” in “The Telecommunications Company of the Year”, “Corporate Social Responsibility Program (in Europe) of the Year” nominations and “People`s Choice Stevie Awards” in the nomination “Favorite Company of the Year” in the telecom field. Also, “Azercell Telecom” LLC was benchmarked against the requirements of “Investors in People” (IIP) standard and awarded GOLD Level of Standard as a mark of strong leadership, sustainable corporate culture and continuous development of people management practices . Notably, Azercell is the only company in Azerbaijan and the only telecom company in CIS with this level of recognition. However, Azercell’s achievements in 2018 were not limited to the above listed. Thus, Azercell was recognized by Global Club of Leaders as the “Best Enterprise” in Azerbaijan in the field of governance and sustainable development, and CEO of the company Mr. Vahid Mursaliyev was named the “Manager of the Year”.
