The fifth edition of the "Cyber Summer School 2026" (CSS-2026) cybersecurity camp has concluded successfully in Mingachevir. Supported by Azercell and organized on the initiative of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (AKTA), the camp was held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Cybersecurity Center under the State Security Service, and Mingachevir State University.
Hosted in Mingachevir, the camp brought together more than 100 university and school students from 60 cities and regions across Azerbaijan, as well as members of the Cyber Clubs established at higher education institutions under AKTA's initiative.
The educational program featured three specialized tracks covering key areas of cybersecurity. In addition to supporting the initiative, Azercell Telecom, AKTA’s platinum sponsor, played an active role in the training program. A cybersecurity specialist from the company delivered a series of sessions, sharing practical insights, professional expertise, and industry best practices with participants across three different training sessions.
Alongside the theoretical sessions, participants strengthened their practical skills through hands-on exercises based on real-world cybersecurity scenarios. Interactive quizzes were held at the end of each training day to evaluate participants' knowledge and reinforce the concepts covered during the sessions.
By supporting initiatives such as the Cyber Summer School, Azercell continues to contribute to the development of Azerbaijan's cybersecurity ecosystem, help cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and equip young people with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
