Azercell was once again awarded with the “Socially devoted” certificate for leadership in social networks

For the third time, Azercell - the leader of Azerbaijan mobile technologies market is awarded with the “Socially devoted” certificate by the international research organization “Socialbakers” for its notable achievements online client service s.


The results of the study conducted by “Socialbakers” - the organization carrying out  social networks monitoring all over the world, proved  that the official Facebook page of Azercell has the highest rank  in the telecom sector of Azerbaijan by the number of fans. As of today, Azercell’s Facebook page has over 360,000 fans and this number is continuously growing. Back in 2012, Azercell became the first mobile operator in the country awarded as «Socially Devoted» for prompt responses to customer inquiries. In order to qualify for this award, the  company had to demonstrate a high level of response index to the daily growing inquiries of the page fans. In the first quarter of the current year this index was equal to 97%, but the Company aspires to reach 100% in the nearest future. Along with the highest number of fans Azercell was also, on numerous occasions, the leading company for customer engagement on its Facebook page.


On the same note, Azercell was the first mobile operator launching its official presence in the leading social networks. This in turn was aimed at maintaining a closer link with the customers, prompt  release of  information on innovations, as well as served as a useful tool for better understanding and quick reaction to the needs and requests of the customers using direct access mechanisms. Moreover, as of today, Azercell is the only mobile operator in Azerbaijan to create and offer a special application for the customer service through social networks. Thanks to this approach, Azercell subscribers got the opportunity to enjoy a 24/7 highest-quality service by using the features of six different social networks:

Facebook, Twitter, Disput.Az, Google+, YouTube and Instagram. Inquiries addressed  by subscribers through these social networks are replied within few seconds.

Based on  statistical data of - the site that monitors the Azerbaijani segment of Twitter, Azercell’s page in these networks has the largest number of fans not only among the mobile operators but also among all the brands represented in Azerbaijan.


In addition, Azercell became the first among all Azerbaijani companies to get the verified status for its Twitter page. Only Twitter Company itself assigns this status to the prominent companies, brands and public figures.
