Azercell Telecom – the leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan, has attained another success. This time the Company received “Socialbakers Engage Award” founded by the prominent “Socialbakers” research agency that monitors social media all over the world. The award was presented to Azercell during “Engage Prague 2015” conference, held on May 20-22 in Prague, Czech Republic. Engage is a world-class marketing conference that brings together one of the most prestigious international audiences in the industry: top marketers, CEOs, CMOs, and social/innovation marketing experts from all around the world. Featuring top speakers, this conference had 1000 in-person attendees, thousands more online, and were always trending topics on Twitter. The award was presented to the companies that hold leading roles in the area of social media. Azercell is the first mobile operator that deserved this prestigious award. In the second quarter of 2014 Azercell became the first mobile operator of Azerbaijan setting a record for its online customer services in the whole region with 100% of response rate. We would like to remind that back in 2012 Azercell became the first mobile operator in the country awarded with the “Socially devoted” certificate for responding to all of the customer inquiries of its official Facebook page. In order to issue the certificate the indicator of responses to the growing from year to year inquiries of the page users are being measured. In addition to the high number of users Azercell was ranked the first for its involvement and interactions via the social network.
We also would like to note that research and monitoring of the social networks by Socialbakers rated the official Facebook page of Azercell as the leading one in Azerbaijan for the number of fans. As of today, Azercell's Facebook page exceeded 370,000 fans and their number continues to grow from day to day.
We would like to remind, that Azercell was the first mobile operator in the country to create its official pages in the leading social networks, as well as launching online customer service. The very purpose of this approach is to build closer links to subscribers and provide them with an instant access to the company’s innovations. The existing communication channels enables Azercell customers to receive high-quality service 24/7 using resources of six different social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Disput.Az, Google+, YouTube and Instagram. Response rate through these networks is very fast, sometimes down to few seconds.
