One of the issues making subscribers annoyed in using mobile communication is the reception of numerous text messages (SMS) with commercial contents. Azerbaijani leading mobile operator Azercell Telecom, always committed to take care of its subscribers, applies a special SMS filtration for its customers for the first time in Azerbaijan. SMS filtration enables to stop the reception of unwanted SMS. It is quite easy for subscribers to benefit from the service. Thus, subscriber can stop receiving unwanted text messages by sending a text message with “STOP” content or an empty one to short number 9005. It should be noted that such messages will not be charged from subscriber’s balance.
