The world's most influential businesses presented at the Marketing Kingdom Baku
On April 4-5, the international conference Marketing Kingdom Baku has been taking place in Azerbaijan. More than 200 participants, including the world's largest marketing experts, who presented at the conference, attended the event held at Four Seasons Hotel. The event featured topics as social media, consumer marketing, digital marketing and advertising, as well as the latest trends in the world of global marketing research.
The marketing directors of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games, Lego Group, SAP, Novartis, Coca-Cola Hellenic, Yahoo! and others made presentations at this two-day event, organized by PWorld with the platinum sponsorship of Azercell Telecom.
In his opening speech at the conference Mr. Kosta Petrov, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-based PWorld company, expressed his appreciation to the marketing society of Azerbaijan: "We are confident that the Marketing Kingdom Baku will help local marketers to build successful marketing strategy. We collaborate with our partner Azercell Telecom to turn Azerbaijan into a regional marketing center".
Marketing Kingdom is Europe's largest marketing event. In 2011-2012 similar events were organized in Belgrade, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Tbilisi. Within these two years the conference hosted up to 2000 participants. Along with Baku, in 2013 the Marketing Kingdom will be also held in Kazakhstan and Russia. This first of this kind event in Azerbaijan had a pivotal value for the development of global marketing strategies. Along with the Platinum sponsor Azercell Telecom, some other organizations and businesses also supported the conference.
