Azercell presents – Connecting though music

Finnish professors will run master-classes for Azerbaijani students


Azercell Telecom that differs both with its high quality services, as well as world class projects and creative initiatives, is presenting yet another program for professional musicians. The project called “Connecting through music” is initiated by TeliaSonera and Azercell and aimed at classic music students.
Professors from Finnish Savolinna Music Academy will visit Baku on 1-8 April. The delegation will consist of vocal and string instruments professionals. They will run master-classes for Baku Music Academy students and perform a joint concert with them.
Connecting through music project was first conducted in 2012. Eight most talented students of Baku Music Academy were also selected during the master classes to join summer school in Finland. With the support of TeliaSonera and Azercell for the first time young musicians from Azerbaijan participated at the summer school courses of Savolinna Academy.
Azercell attaches special attention to support of cultural projects. It has implemented a number of projects aimed at world-wide promotion of our culture and particularly of classic music professionals. Up to date, the company has spent about 13.2 million manat.
