Deactivation of the number for physical and legal persons is also possible through “Azercell Kabinetim” service.

Physical persons:
In order to deactivate the number, a subscriber shall visit Customer Care offices with his/her ID card.
The foreign citizen must submit the following documents for the afore mentioned operation:
passport of the country of citizenship (diplomatic, foreign or domestic passport; diplomatic card or Special passport / certificate), registration card of a foreigner wishing to reside in the Azerbaijan Republic for more than 30 days or a temporary or permanent residence permit for a foreigner in the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic.
Note: If a subscriber cannot visit a Customer Care Office, the operation can be carried out based on the power of attorney.

Deactivation of the number belonging to a Physical person by Call Center:
For deactivation of the number for a short period of time, the relevant information must be provided verbally:
A photocopy of the application and the relevant document disclosing the request on suspension of the line for a long period must be sent to the e-mail address customercare@azercell.com (or musterixidmetleri@azercell.com).

Legal Persons:
In order to conduct the operation, the authorized person must apply to the Customer Care offices with a letter of intent, signed and stamped by the authorized representative of the legal entity.

Deactivation of the number belonging to a Legal person by Call Center:
For suspension of the line for a short period of time, the relevant information must be provided verbally:
For suspension of the line for a long period, a request must be submitted via web-site https://support.azercell.com In this case, the registration operation of the request letter (scan version) on the letterhead (if any) upon subscriber's request and signed and stamped by the authorized representative of the legal entity, is performed through the same web-site.
Note: For all Azercell subscribers, regardless of the duration, the price of a call to * 1111 is 0.10 AZN including VAT.

In order to carry out the restoration operation of pre-paid line numbers, subscribers must top-up their number accounts (numbers to be restored) by presenting a 5 AZN card. In such case, a service fee in the amount of 1 AZN (VAT inclusive) will be charged.
