Subscription terms for individuals

Who can be Azercell subscriber?

The following individuals could be Azercell Telecom LLC subscribers:

• All the physical persons, citizens of Azerbaijan Republic reaching the age of 18.
• Citizens of the foreign countries having “Registration card of the foreign citizen who will live in Azerbaijan Republic for a period exceeding 30 days”.
• Stateless bodies having “Identification card of the stateless body permanently living in Azerbaijan Republic after reaching the age of 16 to be used within the limits of Azerbaijan Republic”

16–18 years old citizens can get subscription on the following terms:

• if they work according to labor agreement and submit the official reference of the employer;
• if they have the official consent of the parents or guardian if they carry on business.

Citizens contracted a marriage before attaining the age of consent must present certificate approved notarially or in other legal way.

To be a subscriber of Azercell Telecom JV, all the persons at the age of 14–18 may sign a contract only by approbation of their legal representatives (parents) or official guardian. For this purpose, official application approved notarially or in other legal way must be submitted.

Documents required for subscription

For Azerbaijan Citizens

Identification card of the citizen of Azerbaijan Republic must be presented.

Persons at the age of 14–16 who want to get subscription must present Certificate of birth and the official consent of the parents (or official guardian) approved notarially.

Persons at the age of 16–18 must present the identification card of Azerbaijan Republic and the official consent of the parents (or official guardian) approved notarially.

In case of non-availability of ID card temporary identification card of the citizen of Azerbaijan Republic is valid.

Officers in the active military service (not retirees or officers in reserve) can present “Officer's identification certificate”.

Only while subscription to SimSim the following documents can be presented:

• Service certificate of Ministry of National Safety;
• Service certificate of Ministry of Internal Affairs;
• Service certificate of Procuracy of Azerbaijan Republic;
• Foreign passport of the citizen of Azerbaijan Republic (also Diplomatic or Service passport of the citizen of Azerbaijan Republic);
• Driving license of the citizen of Azerbaijan Republic.

For Foreign Citizens

Diplomatic passport (or Diplomatic certificate or Special passport/certificate) and letter of warranty given by the bank or any legal body (provided that copy of certificate confirming the registration in the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic).

Civic passport of the corresponding foreign country and the effective Registration card of the foreign citizen who wills to live in Azerbaijan Republic for a period exceeding 30 days and letter of warranty given by the bank or any legal body (provided that copy of certificate confirming the registration in the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic).

Only while subscription to SimSim the submission of Registration card of the foreign citizen who wills to live in Azerbaijan Republic for a period exceeding 30 days (provided that copy of certificate confirming the registration in the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic) and letter of warranty is not required.

For Stateless Individuals

Identification card used within Azerbaijan Republic by stateless person permanently living in Azerbaijan Republic after the year of 16.
