Azercell Boss meets Rob Conway, Head of GSM Association

Co-operation issues are discussed between GSM Association and Azercell.

On February 16-19, during his visit to Spain, Mr.Ali Agan, newly appointed CEO of Azercell Telecom LLC has participated in the annual meeting of World GSMA Congress held in Barcelona and met with leaders of several worldwide giants of mobile communications, including Rob Conway, Head of GSM Association.

According to information given to Lent.az by Press Service of Azercell, in his meeting with Mr.Conway, Mr. Agan has information about the economic development of Azerbaijan and the Government’s strategy of making this country as a regional technological hub.

Rob Conway has thanked Azercell leadership for excellent organization of the meeting between the leaders of the world GSM technologies held at the end of last year in Baku and discussed the ways of further co-operation between GSM Association and Azercell.

It should be noted that GSM Association brings together 750 companies from 219 countries by representing interests of worldwide mobile communication industry.

Realizing its activities since 1996 and being the leader of Azerbaijani mobile communication market, Azercell is the member of GSM Association.
