SMS Settings

To send and receive short messages Azercell Message Center number +994 50 910-33-00 should be set up.(Receiving the incoming messages is possible without the entry of this number).

Refer to your phone manual to enter the Message Center Number correctly. This operation should be done once: the entered number will be saved on your SIM-card thus you will not repeat the same procedure while changing your phone.

In order to avoid the difficulties while sending the messages make sure that the correct “message validity» settings are applied. For example, if “maximum” is set as message validity period change it to the next option (e.g. “1 hour”) then restart your phone and send your message again. Afterwards you can reset the option “maximum” as message validity period back again. In some phones, despite of correct installation of SMS settings, messages aren’t sending. In this case it is necessary to set the menu up in the following order: Menu>Messages> Settings> Channel for SMS> GSM.

Language Set up

Key in az, eng or rus and send it to 0 (zero) via SMS and receive all system messages from Azercell in Azeri, English or Russian respectively.
