Career Event “Future is You!”

The Career Event “Future is You!”, organized by Azercell Telecom, was held on October 25, 2007 in “Europe” hotel. The event provided great opportunity for the young people interested in building their careers with the leader in the telecommunications sector, Azercell Telecom, to ask their questions.

“I will achieve my dreams working at Azercell, the leader company in the field. Therefore I believe that participation in the project will be a major milestone of my future career”

Selection for the event has commenced on September 15 and draw attention of the youth. Thus 648 participants submitted their application forms and 250 of them were short listed and invited to the event.

Mr. A. Halim Atesh, the General Manager of the company, has informed the participants of the achievements of “Azercell” for the past years and briefed on its future perspectives. Having assimilated the company with a family, the General Manager underlined application of a unique approach to each of its members:

“Do not put limits on the beginning of your professional lives. Go for the field you want to work at and one fine day you will see that you have achieved the goals”

The manager of Recruitment and Internal Communications unit, Mrs. Ziba Mustafayeva, has informed the participants of the current and future career opportunities in the company and noted that this project is being implemented since 2005. More than 30 students have been recruited by the company within the project. Two of them - Mr. Nurlan Kerimov and Ms. Tamilla Bulat - gave a speech and shared with their experience; they also told the participants about the corporate culture, recruitment stages and interviews.

Currently some of the participants are being interviewed. Resumes of the others are being registered for their assessment for the future vacancies.
